LIFE – Linking In Fellowship and Education is an initiative designed to partner Hillsborough County communities with educational opportunities at Hillsborough Community College. LIFE will focus on promoting education, degree completion/attainment and career opportunities.

• As of 2008, the educational attainment of African-American women ages 25-34 with an associate degree or higher was just 32.2%, while only 28.1% of African-American men met this standard.
