Blueprint for Improving Student Experience at HCC CLARUS surveyed and interviewed HCC staff, faculty, students and administrators. They also surveyed and interviewed applicants who failed to enroll at HCC as well as community partners, workforce partners and high school guidance counselors. Improvements were suggested, with the major recommendation of redesigning enrollment services at HCC and implementing a plan for improving the student experience. Currently, an Implementation Team has been appointed to facilitate the recommendations. While those individuals represent the Implementation Team we need a commitment and action from the entire college if we are to achieve our goals.

The Implementation Team’s first objective is to centralize the Application Processing and improve the Registration & Advising functions. Following the completion of that goal, a team will work on the Admissions Outreach functions at the college. Each area identified in the yellow boxes will involve a work team to assist the Implementation Team. Within two weeks a "Blueprint Call to Action" will be announced and you will have the opportunity to join a work team that interests you. I hope you will participate in this comprehensive redesign of the student experience at HCC. All information about the Blueprint is located on the SSEM Update webpage where you can track the progress of implementation and review project reports.
