Who Is a Person with a Disability?

The Americans with Disabilities Act (1990) (ADA) defines a person with a disability as any person who:

a. has a physical or mental impairment which substantially limits a major life activity

b. has a record or history of such an impairment; or

c. is regarded as having such an impairment.
