Student Activities and Student Government Association

The Student Government Association (SGA) provides opportunities for
students to actively participate in programs and policy-making at HCC. The
SGA serves as a major vehicle for communication between students and the
administration. All students are represented by the Student Government.
Each campus has an SGA with a president, executive board and senate.

 

Student Union Facilities

Student union facilities are open to all students. These facilities
usually house offices for the SGA and areas in which students can meet.

Clubs and Organizations

Each campus has clubs and organizations that serve student needs.  They provide students with the opportunity to participate in organized activities with others having similar interests.  Clubs and organizations offer students a way to make friends, expand horizons, and get involved in college life.

Athletics 
HCC offers a variety of opportunities to partipate in athletics including the Outdoor Sports Complex, the Gymnasium and Weight Room on the Dale Mabry campus, and varsity sports which include volleyball, basketball, tennis (women), softball (women), basketball (men), and baseball (men). Student Publications  
Student publications and the student press are valuable aids in establishing and maintaining an atmosphere of free and responsble discussion. The College requires that its student publications staff adhere to responsible journalistic practices. The Canons of Journalism, the Advertising Code, and the Advertising Standards of Acceptability serve as external standards for which the editors and staff of the students publications at HCC strive. 
Cultural and Special Events
Hillsborough Community College offers a variety of opportunities for students to broaden their horizons through cultural and special events on each campus, such as Art Shows, Exhibits, Drama, Music, Film, Dances and Special Events. Don't miss out on these wonderful opportunities!
