Test Centers, located on all campuses, administer Faculty Make-up, Placement and Counseling-related tests. To take tests, students must show two forms of ID, one of which must bear a current photo.

CPT (College Placement Test)
New, transfer, or returning students may be eligible and/or required to take part or all of the College Placement Test (CPT). The CPT requires a referral sheet from an HCC advisor or counselor. The CPT is given on a walk-in basis. Students may want to access the following documents in preparation for the test:

Disabled students who need alternative testing arrangements must contact an HCC Coordinator of Services for Students with Disabilities prior to scheduling their tests.

Students using unapproved materials or involved in misconduct while visiting the Test Center will be denied future testing privileges in the Center.

The CPT is given on a walk-in basis. All other exams require an appointment. All tests must be scheduled no less than two hours prior to closing time.
