12 Credit Technical Certificate Programs

Depending on the selected option, graduates will be prepared for entry-level support positions as office clerks, office assistants, human resource technicians, public information clerks, document specialists, office management trainees, customer service representatives, and insurance billing specialists.

The content prepares indivduals to support management by expediting and facilitating the maintenance and production of correspondence and records; to telecommunicate; maintain office budget; planning, preparing correspondence and resolutions; and filing and maintaining documents.

Course work, which provides supplemental education for those already employed in ther occupations, can be applied to the two-year Office Administration degree and the Office Specialist (18-credit), Office Management (27-credit), and the  Medical Office (34-credit) certificate specializations.

Depending on the selected option, this program is designed to prepare students for occupations such as administrative support, clerical assistant, client service specialist, customer service assistant, customer service representative, data control specialist, data entry clerk, facilities coordinator, file room technician, form processor, general office assistant, insurance billing specialist, insurance specialist, intake coordinator, data entry specialist/clerk, medical assistant referrals, medical office assistant, medical posting clerk, medical receptionist, medical records, specialist, scheduler, personal assistant, office clerk, office assistant, staff assistant, receptionist and information clerk, records specialist, public information clerk, and support clerk.
