GENERAL EDUCATION COURSES

Group I - Communications {3 Credits}
Students must take the following course:
ENC 1101......English Composition I

Group I - Humanities {3 Credits}
Students must take the following course:
Any General Education Humanities Course

Students must take the following course:
Any General Education Math Course {Usually MAC-1105 or MGF-1106}

CRIMINAL JUSTICE COURSES

Program Core Courses {25 Credits}
Students must take all of the following courses:
CCJ 1010......Intro to Criminology
CCJ 1020......Intro to Criminal Justice 
CJE 1640......Introduction to Criminalistics*
CJE 2004......Career Choices in Criminal Justice (1 credit)
CJJ 1002......Juvenile Delinquency

CJL 1062......Constitutional Law
CJL 1100......Criminal Law
CJL 2130......Criminal Evidence & Procedure
AND

Students must take ONE of the following courses:

CCJ 2940......Criminal Justice Internship
CCJ 2949......Criminal Justice Field Studies 

Program Tract Recommended Electives {21 Credits}
Students should take the following FOUR courses if they also wish a Crime Scene CCC:
CJE 1642c.....Introduction to Crime Scene Technology
CJE 1643c.....Advanced Crime Scene Technology
CJE 2600......Criminal Investigation

CJL 2610......Courtroom Presentation of Scientific Evidence

And Students are recommended to take THREE of the following: **
CCJ 1488......Ethics in Criminal Justice

CCJ 2618......Forensic Psychology
CJE 1000......Introduction to Law Enforcement
CJE 2603......Investigative Cycle from Crime Scene to Court

CJL 1500......Introduction to the Court System
  

** These are only recommended electives.  Students may, without approval,
     take ANY Criminal Justice elective instead of these courses.
