Theresa Adams is a Crime Laboratory Analyst Supervisor with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), Tampa Bay Regional Operations Center. She currently supervises the Crime Scene, Digital Evidence, and Evidence Management Sections. Theresa Adams has been with FDLE for twenty-two years. Prior to her promotion as Supervisor in 2000, Theresa Adams was a Senior Crime Laboratory Analyst in the Chemistry and Toxicology Sections. She analyzed blood and beverages for the presence and amount of ethyl alcohol and analyzed unknown substances for the presence or absence of controlled substances. She has also testified in court as an expert witness. Theresa Adams is currently the President of the Property and Evidence Association of Florida. She is also a member of the American Society of Crime Lab Directors. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Barry University and a Master’s Degree in Administration of Justice in Forensic Science from Virginia Commonwealth University.
