MyHCC is replacing the previous online environment Online@HCC

To support your academic success, HCC is proud to announce MyHCC (Blackboard 9.1) for the Fall 2011 term.  This new learning management system is designed to improve your online learning experience!

HCC is in the process of upgrading from Online@HCC (WebCT CE 8) to the new MyHCC.  This upgrade will affect all students and faculty.  

In MyHCC you will see a new user interface, different tools, and some improvements to existing features:

• MyHCC comes with an intuitive, easy to use interface.
• As a 21st Century learner, you will have access to Web 2.0 technologies.
• Students will benefit from enhanced communication tools, easier information sharing and collaboration, as well as advanced security.
• HCC will continue to provide technology support via telephone, live online chat, and email through HCC Live.

 HCC students can take Distance Learning classes in the current Online@HCC platform; however, the college will be discontinuing support for it at the end of the summer term, August 2011.  Don't worry though, we'll keep you updated: check Campus Cruiser, your Hawkmail, or visit HCC's website - hccfl.edu - to stay informed.

LOGIN INSTRUCTIONS FOR MyHCC

Preferred Browser:   Firefox 3.6

First Step:  All first-time users must validate their account at https://netid.hccfl.edu

Your username:  You can retrieve your username via https://netid.hccfl.edu

Your password:  Capitalized first-name initial + lowercase last-name initial + HCC student ID number.                                      For example:  John Smith - Js0123456

Troubleshooting   If you do not know your HCC Student ID number, then either

• Visit admissions, Records, and Registration in Student Services and bring photo identification with you, or
• Look on your registration statement if you registered in person or by phone, or
• Call HCC Live toll free at 1-877-736-2575
