MyHCC is replacing the previous online environment Online@HCC

Online courses are not currently entered through FCDICE, we are in the process of getting these courses approved, courses can be requested to be taught in the traditional format for entering into FCDICE.

To support your academic success, HCC is proud to announce MyHCC (Blackboard 9.1) for the Fall 2011 term.  This new learning management system is designed to improve your online learning experience!

HCC is in the process of upgrading from Online@HCC (WebCT CE 8) to the new MyHCC.  This upgrade will affect all students and faculty.

In MyHCC you will see a new user interface, different tools, and some improvements to existing features:

  • MyHCC comes with an intuitive, easy to use interface.
  • As a 21st Century learner, you will have access to Web 2.0 technologies.
  • Students will benefit from enhanced communication tools, easier information sharing and collaboration, as well as advanced security.
  • HCC will continue to provide technology support via telephone, live online chat, and email through HCC Live.

HCC students can take Distance Learning classes in the current Online@HCC platform; however, the college will be discontinuing support for it at the end of the summer term, August 2011.  Don't worry though, we'll keep you updated: check HawkMail 365, your Hawkmail, or visit HCC's website - - to stay informed.
