NetID: How to Log onto the HCC Network
NetID will be required to log onto computers, getting access to your online or hybrid course in MyHCC (formerly Online@HCC), and SmartThinking.Employees will also need the NetID to check email and access the network via VPN.
You will need to use the default password when registering your password with the NetID Password Portal (https://netid.hccfl.edu). The default password is: Uppercase first
letter of their first name + Lowercase first letter of their last name + the
entire seven digit student number. For
example, John Doe (0123456) would have an initial password of Jd0123456. Your password will most likely NOT be the same as any of your other HCC passwords. Once you have registered with the NetID Password
Portal, change your password to something you will remember that others can't figure out.
