How to Apply For Services
If you are a disabled student or prospective student that needs accommodations or any other disability-related services, you must first self-identify and provide appropriate documentation of your disability to the Office of Services for Students with Disabilities (OSSD).
Please see Documentation Guidelines for further details about appropriate documentation. Information that you provide to us will be treated with strict confidentiality.Your eligibility to receive disability-related services will be based upon the documentation that you provide. If you are found to be eligible, specific accommodations will be determined by the Coordinator and/or Learning Disabilities Specialist.
We strongly encourage you to begin this process prior to the start of registration for the semester you plan to attend. You may schedule an appointment or visit us on a walk-in basis.
Once you are registered with the OSSD,
you will need to request your accommodations (“memos”) prior to or at the start of each semester. We ask that you bring a copy of your schedule when you come to the office. At that time, we will also update your contact information. |
