Options for High School Students

  • Articulation Agreements - HCC and Hillsborough County Public schools are working together to fast track your education.  If you have completed an approved career or technical program in a Hillsborough County Public School, you can eary free college credit.
  • Dual Enrollment - This program allows high school students to earn credit toward a postsecondary diploma, certificate, or degree at a Florida public institution and toward a high school diploma.

  • Early Admission - Students are admitted through the early admission option of dual enrollment when they register at HCC as a full-time student (12 or more credits) during their senior year of high school. Learn more about Early Admissions
  • Advanced Placement - High school students may receive credit for courses completed in the National High School Advanced Placement Program (AP) Learn more about AP
  • International Baccalaureate - This program is a rigorous two-year, pre-university liberal arts program of study for highly motivated, academically oriented secondary students. Through the IB program, students may be awarded up to 30 credit hours. Learn more about the IB Program
