EAP Resources on the Dale Mabry Campus

Numerous resources are available to EAP students.

  • The Dale Mabry Academic Success Center offers one-on-one academic help to students via the Tutoring Commons and Writing Commons.  In addition, EAP faculty hold office hours each week, during which they are available to meet with and help students with class assignments one-on-one.
  • The Dale Mabry Campus is also home to the Connections Center where the office of the EAP Student Manager is located. The office provides students and their families information about the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program. It assists with enrollment, placement testing, and course selection. The office remains attentive to EAP student needs throughout the program by providing individual academic guidance, connecting students to other support services, and creating events and workshops to enhance learning and college life experience.
  • Conversation Groups, under the leadership of a tutor, offer EAP students an opportunity to make friends from all over the world while practicing their English speaking skills in a friendly, relaxing environment. These groups, hosted by the Academic Success Center, meet several times a week and are limited to 4 or 5 students per group. Levels vary by groups. Come and join the fun!
  • The Career Resource Center offers students help with résumé writing, career and employment outlook information, and career decision-making interest tests and surveys.
