EAP Ybor City

The Ybor City campus is conveniently located in a historic district in the heart of Tampa.
EAP Class Meeting Times at Ybor

  • In the fall and spring, classes are offered at the following times: 
    • Morning classes meet at 8:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. 
    • Afternoon classes meet at 12:30 p.m .and 2:00 p.m.
    • Evening classes meet at 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.(Summer classes follow a different schedule.) 
  • Most classes meet two days a week (Mondays/Wednesdays or Tuesdays/Thursdays) for 75 minutes each day and count as three (3) credit hours. 
  • Most Reading Lab and Writing Lab classes meet two (2) days a week for 50 minutes and count as one (1) credit hour.

EAP Activities at Ybor
The Ybor City EAP Department hosts a yearly international festival and completion ceremony to celebrate the diversity and accomplishment of EAP students. We also encourage students to get involved in the greater campus community by participating in student activities and clubs.   

Resources at Ybor

The Academic Success Center offers one-on-one academic help to students. In addition, EAP faculty hold office hours each week during which they are available to meet with and help individual students with class assignments. 

The Career Resource Center offers students help with résumé writing, career and employment outlook information, and career decision-making interest tests and surveys.
