Dance Auditions

We look forward to you joining the HCC Dance Program.

Due to the impact of coronavirus, we are accepting digital auditions on a rolling basis.

We will be holding an in-person audition on August 14 from 12:30 – 3:30 pm in YCDC 203. To reserve your spot at the audition contact Christina Acosta. Please complete the dance audition form prior to attending the audition.

To complete your digital audition, please fill out the HCC audition form and attach your video submission link (see requirements and guidelines). Then, send all of your dance audition materials to Christina Acosta, Dance Faculty.

Auditions are required for students who are interested in placement in the HCC Dance Department courses. Students who are absolute beginners should register for the non-major Dance Basics courses. There is no audition requirement for the following courses: Dance Basics, Improvisation, Dance Composition, Music for Dance or Dance Conditioning

Please feel free to reach out to Christina Acosta if you have any questions or need further information.
