Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

MFA requires you to verify your identity twice—once with your password and once with a device, typically a cellphone—before you can access protected information. After you sign in with your email and password, you will be sent a request via mobile phone or another method to verify your identity.

If you have not previously set up Security Info in your Microsoft account, you will be prompted when you log in to MyHCC. If you have already set up your Microsoft account, you’ll need to review and make any necessary changes to your verification methods. This is important because once MFA is enabled, you will be asked to verify through the methods listed there. For example, you might need to make an update if you have a new phone number.
