Law Enforcement Training Academy - The Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission was established by the Florida Legislature to oversee employment and training for law enforcement and correctional officers. The mission of the Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission is to ensure that the citizens of Florida are served by the most qualified, well-trained, ethical and professional officers in the nation.  Program Website

Corrections Academy - The HCC Corrections Academy prepares Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office Corrections Cadets with the necessary training required to pass the Florida Department of Law Enforcement State Certification Examination.


In accordance with US Department of Education Guidelines IV-O, Title VI: 34 C.F.R. § 100.6 (d) this notice shall serve to advise students, parents, employees and the general public that all Career and Technical Education opportunities offered by Hillsborough Community College will be available to all students regardless of  race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex, age, national origin, marital status, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, or against any qualified individual with disabilities.
