Admissions Information



  1. Achieve a high school diploma or GED

  2. Possess ability to complete CPR

  3. Possess ability to complete the technical standards of Dental Assisting Program

  4. Take the Post Secondary Readiness Test (PERT). Students must have completed MAT 0018 or equivalent CPT or PERT score, REA 0007 or equivalent CPT or PERT score, and ENC 0015 or equivalent CPT or Pert score.

    OR* Dental Assisting is a restricted access program; please follow application guidelines in section of this document entitled “PROCESS AND SELECTION CRITERIA FOR RESTRICTED ACCESS HEALTH SCIENCES PROGRAMS.”

    Students must have completed

    MAT 0018            or equivalent CPT or PERT score

    REA 0007              or equivalent CPT or PERT score

    ENC 0015             or equivalent CPT or PERT score

    Requirement can be met by the specific CPT, Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or American College Test (ACT) scores or previous college-level coursework. Placement test must have been taken within the last two (2) years.

    Applications are accepted for fall entry.

  5. Have a 2.0 GPA cumulative college GPA or higher


The Dental Assisting program will accept students on a first come, first serve basis; applicants will be accepted in the order in which completed applications are submitted by qualified applicants.
