On September 24, 2017, the Trump administration put into affect a third version of the travel ban to remain in place indefinitely. Please note that we don't expect the ban to affect international students traveling on an F-1 visa. Currently the only country impacted by a ban on all visa types (including F-1) is North Korea. Challenges to the travel ban continue to make their way through the U.S. court system and is expected to come before the U.S. Supreme Court. To learn more about the travel ban and which countries are affected, please visit the Department of State website.
Please read the CIE Director's message to HCC international students in response to the Executive Order regarding travel entry.
Students can come for advising at the CIE in room DSSC 322 any time during the times listed below.
Walk-In Hours: Monday to Thursday 9 am - 12 pm and 1 pm - 4 pm. There is no walk-in advising on Fridays, but students are welcome to email their advisor and schedule an appointment.
