English for Academic Purposes - Dale Mabry Campus

The EAP, or English for Academic Purposes, Program offers six levels of instruction designed to help non-native English speakers reach a level of proficiency that will prepare them for better employment or for academic opportunities. Each year over 400 students study in the EAP program and they come from all over the world: South America, Mexico and Central America, the Caribbean, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Program Details:

  • All classes are limited to a maximum of 20 students and are conducted in English
  • Classes meet in the fall, spring and summer
  • Fall and spring courses meet for 16 weeks
  • Summer courses meet for 10 weeks, but for the equivalent number of contact hours as fall and spring semesters
