Welcome to the Division of Associate in Science (AS) degree programs at the Dale Mabry campus of Hillsborough Community College. Our programs prepare students for workforce entry and transfer to four-year Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Applied Science degree programs. Over 66 programs are offered in a variety of areas including business, computer science, architecture and building construction, electronics engineering, hospitality management, accounting, economics, dietetic technician, and culinary management. Furthermore, we are a member of the CISCO Networking Academy and hold 3 external accreditations for the culinary management, restaurant management, and dietetic programs.
The faculty of our division actively respond to the demands of a fast-paced labor market and ensure that our curricula is up-to-date in order to best prepare you for employment or transfer into a bachelor’s degree program. Our students get hands on experience working in environments and with equipment that simulates what they will encounter in their prospective profession. Additionally, we regularly meet with local companies and industry advisory boards each semester to receive feedback and insight into their employment needs which is in turn integrated into our courses.
Our division’s staff provides direct support to 16 labs and over 50 active clinical/internship sites. A dedicated full-time academic advisor for AS degrees helps our students navigate the course selection and registration process. The Office of the Dean is also here to help so you are encouraged to seek out our assistance when needed (or to just say hello!).
Please find additional information about each program, our support services, the faculty, and other related material in this website. If you have additional questions, please contact my office. We look forward to hearing from you.
