The Gourmet Room 

 

The Gourmet Room, located on the Dale Mabry Campus, in the Humanities Building in room DHUM 118, is a fine dining restaurant experience run by our own Culinary, Hospitality, Restaurant Management and Dietetic Technician students.

Due to the nature of this facility, we appreciate your understanding that this is a hands-on learning laboratory for these students. Seating is done through the reservation process on a first come first serve basis. Reservations are pre-paid ($10.00) via credit card at the link below. Walk-ins may be available if we do not sell all of the reservation seats. To inquire about walk-ins, come by the Gourmet Room at one of the opening times listed below.

The times for lunch and dinner are strictly adhered to, as this is class time for these students. Please understand that there is still clean-up that must be done once your dining experience ends

Hours of operation:

  1. Lunch12:00-1:00 p.m. on Wednesdays, last seating for reserved seats and walk-ins (if available) is at 12:30 pm
  2. Lunch12:00-1:00 p.m. on Thursdays, last seating for reserved seats and walk-ins (if available) is at 12:30 pm
  • Dinner7:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursdays, last seating for reserved seats and walk-ins (if available) is at 7:30 pm

Reservations for events will be available 1-2 weeks prior to the event.

 

Service Animals are allowed under the Americans with Disabilities Act to have access to public places including the HCC Gourmet Dining Room. 

Emotional Support Animals (ESA) are not permitted in Hillsborough Community College classrooms, campus buildings, common rooms or campus events.  ESAs are not considered service animals under the Americans with Disabilities Act.  The Gourmet Dining Room is considered a classroom and as such, ESAs are not permitted in our dining room.  If a student would like to request an Emotional Support Animal academic accommodation, he/she must register with the Student Disability Center and present proper documentation.
