About Me
Welcome to my Hillsborough Community College website!  I am the instructor for the Earth Science and Physical Geology courses at the Ybor City Campus. I teach full time during the Fall and Spring terms.

My background lies in researching igneous rocks and volcanoes.  I have studied both ancient and modern volcanoes and volcanic deposits in the western United States and in Central America as part of my graduate studies, and have traveled to other localities around the world studing igneous rocks and their related Earth processes.  Coming soon will be some photographs of these study areas.

While Tampa is not in a volcanic area, there is much research in volcanoes being conducted by myself and researchers at the University of South Florida.  If you are interested in pursuing studies in geology or the other Earth sciences please contact me.
