Hillsborough Community College Need Scholarship: The HCC Need Scholarship is the scholarship that is based upon financial aid need and the minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0.  Due to the HCC Need-based scholarship having only two selection criteria, the scholarship provides more students awards than all other HCC scholarships programs. For the campus-based federal, state grant, and institutional need-based scholarship programs, priority is given to students whose financial aid files are complete by the annually established priority date.
