HCC offers college credit for passing CLEP (College-Level Examination Program), or DANTES Subject Standardized Test (DSST) examinations. CLEP and DANTES exams can assist current or former service members in achieving their educational goals at HCC. Students can take these exams in order to earn college credit instead of taking a college course.
Available for military personnel and veterans. Priority registration allows students the opportunity to register early for classes needed. Registration dates are available here.
HCC's Education Center at MacDill Air Force Base is open to both civilians and military personnel; however, active duty military is always given priority in registering for classes.
