HCC has different tuition rates depending on whether or not you meet state residency requirements. Check out our residency page to determine if you meet the requirements and which documents you’ll need to apply.
Complete our online application as a First Time in College student.
4. Apply for Veterans Benefits
Complete the Certification of Eligibility. When applying for benefits, please enter the school's address as: 1602 N. 15th St. Tampa, FL. 33605
5. Submit your Documents
Based on your eligibility, review the list of required documents and submit them all at one time.
6. Secure any additional funding.
Apply for Financial Aid.
7. Submit Transcripts
HCC requires high school transcripts be submitted.
8. Complete Required Welcome Orientation.
9. Connect with an Academic Advisor
Our advisors are here to assist you with placement tests, course selection, and degree planning.
10. Complete the Registration Workshop and Register for Classes
Search for course selections and register for classes.
11. Complete the Certification Request Form
This form must be submitted to an academic advisor. Note: this step must be completed every semester.
12. Pay for Classes
Submit payment for any charges not covered by financial aid or other benefits. Enroll in Tuition Installment Plans (TIPS).
