Substance Abuse
April is Alcohol Awareness month and the Office of Student Services and Enrollment Management understands that it is not uncommon for college students to encounter binge drinking or recreational drug use.  This is extremely dangerous both to self and others and can be directly associated with violence, suicide, educational failure, alcohol overdose, and other problem behaviors, even for college students who may never develop a dependence or addiction. Our Student Assistance Program can provide you or someone you know with Professional Counseling  24/7; click here for additional information.

HCC’s Office of Equity and Special Programs ensures compliance with federal and state laws prohibiting discrimination and sexual harassment.  Further, this office serves as the Title IX Coordinator for the College. Employees and students who believe they have been a victim of discrimination or sexual harassment, including all forms of sexual misconduct, should contact the Office of Equity and Special Programs.
