Math Resource Center (MRC)

HCC Math Success is a Title III Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) Grant designed to help students succeed in one of college’s most difficult subject areas: mathematics.

This project aims to increase student achievement in key HCC math courses through:

  • A newly redesigned, collaborative Math Resource Center (MRC)
  • Advisors, specializing in STEM student transfer
  • Supplemental Instruction (SI) group tutoring sessions
  • Interactive technologies in both the classroom and MRC

For the Fall 2019 term, students registered in MAC 1114 and MAC 1140 are eligible to join a Math Success cohort.
