Coronavirus Vaccine Updates

As new information is presented by the Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention (CDC) Hillsborough Community College continues to monitor these developments and provide our campus community with updates. 

According to the Florida Department of Health, as of Monday, May10, 2021, all Florida residents 12 years of age and older are eligible to receive any COVID-19 vaccine as prescribed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

  • Persons aged 12-17:  The Pfizer vaccine is authorized for persons age 12 and up.  The Moderna and Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) vaccines are authorized for persons age 18 and up. All individuals under the age of 18 receiving the vaccine must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
  • Currently, COVID-19 Vaccine booster shots are available for the following Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine recipients who completed their initial series at least 6 months ago:

Home Vaccination

  • DeliveRxd Pharmacy will vaccinate individuals at home for those who live in Hillsborough and Pinellas at no cost. Those who would like this option do not have to be homebound or bedridden. Those who would like to be vaccinated at home should call 813.932.6266.

  • Homebound individuals can sign up to receive a COVID-19 vaccine at their home by filling out this survey, emailing, or by calling 866.779.6121.
