Welding Technology

Welding AcademyPSAV 1050 Clock Hours (3 semesters to complete)
The certified applied welder program is designed for those who wish to have a solid foundation and advanced knowledge of a variety of welding applications in preparation for AWS certification and a career in any of a number of welding fields. This course covers welder helper, shielded metal arc, gas metal arc, flux cored arc, gas tungsten arc, and pipe welder. This program includes an internship.

Class Times:
AM Program:  Monday - Friday 8 am - 1:00 pm
Afternoon Program: Monday - Friday 1:00 pm - 6 pm
Evening Program: Monday - Friday 6 pm - 11 pm 

Program Costs:
The cost of the program covers tuition, lab fees, materials, tools, tool box, books, and an AWS test.

AWS Certification:
At the end of the program, all students will sit for one or more of the American Welding Society (AWS) certification tests prior to graduation. Graduation is not dependent upon passing this test.
