HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT
In a continuing effort to serve the needs of students in technical programs, Hillsborough Community College will award accelerated articulated credit toward an Associate in Science degree (A.S.) in Criminal Justice Technology to those individuals who have successfully completed the approved Hillsborough County School District High School Criminal Justice Academy Program:
Criminal Justice Operations 1
Criminal Justice Operations 2
Criminal Justice Operations 3
Criminal Justice Operations 4
This accelerated credit makes it possible for a student completing such a program to receive 6 hours of college credit toward the Associate in Science degree (A.S.) in Criminal Justice Technology.
The students so eligible would be awarded the following courses toward their degree:
- CJE-1000........Introduction to Law Enforcement
- CJE-2600........Criminal Investigations
The student must matriculate 15 hours of coursework at Hillsborough Community College on either a full or part-time basis to have these credits noted on his/her official college transcripts.
