Monique Palisi is currently employed as a Latent Fingerprint Specialist with the Tampa Police Department. Previously she was employed as a Latent Fingerprint Examiner with the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office and prior to that for 8 years as a Crime Scene Technician with the Tampa Police Department. She is cross-trained in TPD’s Latent Fingerprint Department and fluent in running COGENT, AFIS, and IAFIS. She is a member of the Florida Division of the International Association for Identification. Ms. Palisi received her Associate in Arts degree from the University of South Florida in 2001 and an Associate in Science degree in Criminal Justice and a College Credit Certificate in Crime Scene from Hillsborough Community College in 2008. She has attended several training courses, including: Firearm Identification by ATFE; Post Blast Investigations by the FBI at Quantico, VA; Evidence Collection, Packaging, Processing, and Analysis by the FDLE; Comparison Techniques for the New Latent Examiner by the FDIAI; and Evaluation and Comparison of Latent Prints with the FDIAI and the FDLE.
