Fire Science Technology

AS Fire Science Technology - 60 credits
Students receive and Associate in Science degree at HCC and then complete the University of Florida's Fire and Emergency Services Degree which is fully online. Click here to see the Advising Guide .

Fire Fighting PSAV - 435 clock hours
Train to become a firefighter in Florida and obtain your professional certification. Learn skills such as fire attack and control; fire ground ladder, hose and rope operations; and basic emergency medical care. Click here to see the Advising Guide.

    Students take a variety of upper level fire science courses at HCC and then transfer during the end of their second year to the University of Florida's Fire and Emergency Services Degree.
