College Reach Out Program

Helping More Students Seek Higher Education

HCC's College Reach-Out Program (CROP) is a state grant funded through the Florida Department of Education Office of Equity and Access with the goal of increasing college enrollment for educationally and economically disadvantaged students.

CROP serves students in grades 6 –12 who are eligible for free or reduced lunch. CROP students receive college counseling, as well as information about admissions requirements, scholarships and various student financial aid programs. Certified high school and middle school teachers provide instruction to CROP students on HCC campuses during Summer Academic Enrichment and Saturday Enrichment programs during the school year.
