Your courses may not appear on your Dashboard if: 1) your course has not started yet, or 2) you registered within the past 12 hours, or 3) you have not set your course as a “favorite”, or 4) you have been withdrawn from the course, or 5) the term has ended. 

If your course does not appear on your dashboard 12 hours after you registered and paid for your course, log into WebAdvisor and verify your registration status.
 

Courses appear on your Canvas dashboard and start on the first day of the term. See your schedule in WebAdvisor for course start dates. 

Not necessarily. Check with your instructor about the requirements for logging in and participating in the online course. The convenience of online courses means that you can log in any time, day or night to access your course.

Online courses are not self-paced or self-study. They are demanding and should not be considered easier than campus courses. They have regular deadlines and tests and require that you respond to faculty and peers by specific times. You should plan on logging into your course and actively participating at least three times a week.
