To ensure the safety of our students, faculty and staff, HCC will be closing Tuesday, October 8 through Friday, October 11. All classes and activities are canceled.
Classes for tonight, October 7 are scheduled as planned.
During the closure, please refrain from accessing college property. Essential staff including Facilities and Public Safety are the only departments permitted to be on college property after the storm passes; they will need ample time to assess and address any damage.
The college plans to reopen on Saturday, October 12, including classes. We will continue to monitor conditions and communicate any deviations from normal operations.

TRIO provides information about four-year colleges and universities, including assistance with the application process, admission, housing, financial aid, and transcripts. TRIO provides trips each semester to give students the opportunity to learn about other institutions.

The term “First Generation College Student” means:
An individual both of whose parents did not complete a four-year degree.
Yes, TRIO SSS program provides one-on-one transfer advising. In addition, transfer workshops are held each semester to assist students with the transferring process.
Yes, students get to choose the institution they wish to transfer to.
The tutoring services are one on one learning, which best accommodates the individual needs.
