The Student Government Association (SGA) enables students to actively participate in the programs and policy-making procedures at HCC by serving as the means of communication between students and the administration. The SGA is comprised of a student body-elected Executive Board, including a President, Vice-president, Secretary and Treasurer, Student Senators appointed by the Executive Board, as well as representatives from each recognized club or organization. During the Fall and Spring semesters, regular SGA Meetings are held in the Learning Resource Center (DLRC) Room 106 on Thursdays at 3:30 pm.
The Dale Mabry SGA’s office is headquartered in the Student Activities Office, located in the Social Sciences Building (DSSC) room 148. This area also includes a study lounge, game room, and the laid-back SGA.COM lounge that features an express Starbuck’s and computer access for current HCC students. All current students with an active Hawk Card (HCC ID) are considered members of the SGA and can participate in activities and events held by the Student Activities Office throughout the year.
For more information about how you can become involved in SGA on the Dale Mabry Campus, come by the Student Activities Office (DSSC 148), call 813.253.7265, or email Student Activities at DMStudentActivities@hccfl.edu.
