Intro

We want you to have a variety of networking opportunities. That's why the Honors Program at HCC is connected with some of the best national and international associations for honors programs. In fact, several members of the Honors Program staff have held leadership roles in these organizations. In addition to the Florida Collegiate Honors Council and National Collegiate Honors Council, the Dr. Lydia R. Daniel Honors Program is associated with the following organizations:

National Society for Minorities in Honors

Through national collaboration and annual conferences, this organization supports diversity, equity and inclusion in honors education.

Column 2

Southern Regional Honors Council

The Southern Regional Honors Council (SRHC) is a professional associate of undergraduate honors programs and colleges through the eleven states that make up the Southern region of the United States.

Column 3

National Association of African American Honors Programs

The National Association of African American Honors Programs is a national academic organization that provides honors students with opportunities to network, debate, compete academically, and present scholarly research each year at its conference.

National Academic Advising Association

The National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) promotes and supports quality academic advising in institutions of higher education to enhance the educational development of students.

Column 2

Florida Academic Advising Association

The Florida Academic Advising Association (FLACADA) is an organization of professionals from higher education institutions concerned with the personal and academic advising needs of students in Florida.

Column 3

European Honors Council

The European Honors Council (EHC) offers opportunities for exchange of knowledge and good practices, possibilities for student and teacher exchange at honors level, joint research projects and a platform to support the development of (structural embeddedness of) honors programs in national education systems.
