A radiographer performs various radiographic procedures and techniques that result in images that are interpreted by a licensed physician.  The radiography AS degree trains you to apply x-ray energy to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. The graduate of the Radiography Program is eligible to take the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist's (ARRT) examination and will also be eligible for a State of Florida General Radiographer license. 

CEU Credits
This program offers six CEU credits in the spring and fall of each year.

This curriculum is from the current college catalog and is meant to provide prospective students an example of courses taken in this degree/certificate.  It is not intended to be used for graduation requirements. Students should consult an advisor for graduation information.

NOTE: Beginning Fall Term 2000, all graduates of this program shall articulate into a Radiologic Technology baccalaureate degree in the designated university program under the provision of Rule 6A-10.024, Articulation Between Universities, Community Colleges, and School Districts.
