Bail Bonding/Surety Agent is instructed as a fully live, online, synchronous course with multiple instructors (students must be actively logged in while instructors teach). Students are responsible for providing their own technology to participate in class by camera and microphone throughout the course period. Assignments are also submitted via HCC’s Learning Management System.
The course is instructed over 4 sequential weeks, on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8:00am until 7:00pm, for a total of 12 course days.
State licensure expectations require 80% attendance. As a 120-hour total course, a student may not miss more than 24 total hours of instruction for any reason. Any student accruing more than 24 hours of absence will be dropped and must re-take the full course. Additionally, any student repeating the course after unsuccessful completion must be present and pay for the full course.
Spring 2022 registration is closed. Complete the Bail Bonds Information Form linked below to be contacted regarding Summer and Fall 2022 options when the dates are confirmed.
All students must provide confirmation of Florida residency to pay the In-State rate for courses. If we are unable to confirm residency from the information provided during the application period, students must provide appropriate documentation to prove residency status or pay the out-of-state cost for the course. For more information on residency verification, please go to HCC's Proof of Residency for Tuition Purposes webpage.
