Theatre Auditions

YPAB, (Studio Theatre, 1st Floor ~or~ Mainstage Theatre, 2nd Floor. Please check specific dates and times for location).

All parking spaces are paid unless you are a student, faculty or staff with an HCC issued parking permit. Additional street parking can be found around the Ybor City Campus or in nearby parking garages.

• Actors: Please prepare a one-minute monologue of your choice. There will also be cold readings from the script. We're looking for actors who can commit to the rehearsal process and who are able to work as an ensemble. 
• Crew: Interviews will be held. All crew members are required to commit to entire rehearsal and performance process.
• Vocal Audition: Prepare 32 bars of a song from the show Heathers, The Musical. Bring marked sheet music.

Everyone is required to attend one cold reading, dance and voice audition time. Please keep the number assigned to you. That will be your number for all auditions.

Only serious applicants will be considered. Theatre experience is not required. Singing is required to audition.

Tech Rehearsals (Monday thru Thursday)

• March 24th – 27th - 5 p.m. - 10 p.m.
• March 28th – 2 p.m - 10 p.m - TBD
• March 31st – 1st - 5 p.m. - 10 p.m.

Rehearsals for Fall Production: First Rehearsal January 14th

• Tuesdays 2 p.m - 10:30 p.m.
• Thursdays 2 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
• Tuesday March 18th – Thursday, March 20th (HCC Spring Break) 2 p.m - 10 p.m.
• Additional rehearsal will be added if needed.
